Dr. Marina C. G. Frederik

Dr. Marina C. G. Frederik is a marine geophysicist with expertise in geological hazard research and regional hazard resilience programs. Holding a PhD in Marine Geophysics from the Jackson School of Geosciences, University of Texas at Austin, Dr. Frederik has made contributions in various research organizations and institutions. With a diverse educational background including degrees from institutions in the USA and France, she holds a current position at the Research Center for Deep Sea (PRLD), part of the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) in Jakarta. Dr. Frederik has been the recipient of awards such as the Whitney Endowed Presidential Scholarship, GSA Graduate Student Research Grant and the Satya Lancana Wira karya.
